BDSM Mistress

Posted by in Sex Wiki on Oct 07, 2012 . 0 Comments.

A BDSM Mistress is a female, often a professional, also referred to as a Dominatrix, or Fem-domme. They can either choose to live the lifestyle where they have created rules for their submissive, who can be external from their profession or  they may simply perform as a Dominatrix as it is a lucrative, if not demanding job as empathy and an understanding of limits must be adhered to for a successful business to operate.

They often do not offer services of a sexual nature as it could be illegal in their location, or because Pro-dommes, do not see themselves as prostitution services. They view Bondage and Domination as a mental stimulation, as do the majority of BDSM participants. However, some do use erotic toys on the clients, but this is at the discretion of the Mistress and her policies.

A mistress may employ several tactics to arouse the slave. She may insist that he/she only speak when spoken to, and that all sentences or answers finish with “Mistress”. This is an integral part of BDSM Dom/sub play, which allows the slave to have a feeling of helplessness, or lack of control that is alluring to them.

Additionally, depending on the rules set up beforehand, the Mistress can use ropes, straps to restrain the subject, gag balls, to reduce noise to grunts and moans. Whips, and other devices used to inflict varying levels of pain can also be included,  but are discussed with the client before play begins.

The advantages of the Professional Dominatrix lie in her experience, which is key, especially for newcomers to the BDSM scene. While a person may have a fantasy of being controlled or dominated, in the heat of the moment it may prove too much to cope with and must quickly be halted in order to avoid any mental damage. The Fem-domme is also well equipped to understand, perhaps even better than the slave themselves, the limits of pain that can be inflicted, this usually refers to the S&M (Sado-Masochism) part of BDSM, which is altogether different.
