Dear Gina,

I really like this guy and he tells people he likes me too, but he wont ask me out!  I'm afraid to ask him, and girls dont ask guys out anyways. What should i do?

It's the 21st Century baby! We can most certainly ask guys out; plus it makes a good story to tell around your friends that you asked a boy out, it's a little empowering too!

So take the initiative and ask him out, I mean you already know he likes you, so got for it!

I most certainly agree... We're in the age where gender-roles are being tossed out the window and there's no set standard to starting a relationship. There is nothing at all, wrong with asking a guy out. From a man's perspective as I dated quite a bit in my younger years. It can be tiresome, being the aggressive one.
